Chatting In The Cbox
1. This kinda goes without saying, but you must be polite and respectful toward other members and site guests at all times.
2. On a similar note, no arguing, pouting or generally disrupting behavior in the Cbox. If you see a member not following the rules, please report the behavior to a Staff member.
3. If someone is trolling in the Cbox, be it a member or a guest, ignore them and do not attempt to put a stop to it yourself. Instead, report the behavior to a Staff member and the problem will be dealt with asap.
4. Please do not post advertisements for other sites or rps in the Cbox.
Keep in mind, that not behaving yourself while posting in our Cbox has consequences. You could lose your posting privileges, or if your offense is bad enough, you could be outright banned from Children of the Wild.
Posting In Character
1. Each post must be a minimum of 50 words. The site has a word counter, so you can easily calculate the length of your posts. Now, we won't be constantly monitoring you to make sure you're posting exactly 50 words each and every time. That would be impossible. But if we see you posting considerably below the minimum on a regular basis, that will have to be addressed.
2. No power-playing other member's characters without their expressed permission. This site defines power-playing as the act of controlling another character's movements, speech or actions in your post.
3. No god-moding. This site defines god-moding as having a character be able to dodge every attack thrown at them, being able to read other character's thoughts or to have a character possess supernatural abilities. Outside of talking of course.
The consequences for breaking rules 2 or 3 are as follows. First time, you are warned by a Staff member. A second offense gets you a temporary ban from the site. A third offense gets you permanently banned from the site.
These rules are subject to change as the site grows and evolves. Please check back here often so you can stay up to date with this important information.
