October 25th, 2009 First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all new members to the site. I hope you have lots of roleplaying adventures and make some new friends along the way. =D
Now to business. I have decided we need to have another activity check. For those of you who are new, an activity check is just our way of finding out which members are still participating in the game. All members are required to post. Please check the Bulletin Board.

Year 4 Weather:
It's starting to cool off in the lands of CoTW. Bears are more active this time of the year, because they looking for those last few morsels before it is time for winter. The leaves on the trees are changing in beautiful arrays of color, and it's just nice to lay outside and feel the lukewarm air.
Prey:
Some of the larger species are starting to getting scarce, however, rabbits and the like are still in abundance.
Breeding: yes.
Birthing: negative.

Twilight had heard enough. She came out of her place with a look that she knew would be foreign to her son. Her icy eyes seemed to pierce the pair as she stood there with her alabaster tail straight out with a slight curl.
"Hikage," she spoke with a sharp tone in her voice, "Would you like to introduce me on who this is and why she is here in the first place?" She averted her eyes to the female, her dagger eyes and sharp tongue showing no signs of retreat. Her posture was that of how it should be, only this time, it would not back down for her son, nor anyone before her. Today, was for business.

Hikage opened his mouth to answer Emilie, but shut it as Twilight did it for him. On the outside he didn't flinch at her sudden appearance, on the inside his heart and mind were racing faster than they have ever done before. "Good afternoon mother. There are actually 4 packs in this area. To answer your questions, she is Emilie and she would like to join the pack, with your grace of course. Isn't that right Emilie?" He said quickly before Emilie could answer for herself.

Emilia looked up at the voice speaking to them. She stopped and stood next to Hikage. She was about to reply back to the alphaesses remark but held her tongue. Hikage was quickly responded to his mother. She was almost shocked but didn't have time to react. Yes that right I wish to join. I know how things done and I believe this pack does to.
She temporally threw her own mind back to the amount of packs. Four packs she thought. One most newer if she didn't know it. She put her self back into the conversation right after she gave herself time to think.
She didn't know what to say now and her smiling finally stopped. She looked rather serious look now as she awaited a response from either wolf.

With this note, Twilight's expression became deadly serious. However, whether she was serious or just putting up a front was unknowing.
"It seems to me Hikage, that you have already told this young lady that she is a part of the Ferinus."
She stood there as she let her tongue work like a whip, using a tone that was unknown to her son. It wasn't the tone of a mother, but something more dangerous and foreboding.

Hikage could feel his fur rise in response to Twi's tone and words. He knew that she was putting up a front so she could test him, or atleast that is what he hoped. He was not going to fall into a trap of words. "That depends, how could i say she was Ferinus if i have no right to say that she is? I have if my words have meaning, i have not if they don't." He said with a slight grin, not seeing any logical faults in his argument.

Emilia didn't want to jump in this part of the conversation. She didn't want to say anything to anger the alphaess and didn't want to get Hikage in to unneeded trouble. She and waited till she was needed in the conversation again to say another word.
She began to think about this alphaess and Hikage. She wasn't treating him like a son anymore. She was treating him like another member of the pack. Emilia didn't mind that part about her her right now. It proved to Emilia that she wasn't going to choose her pups as favorite. They where just as equal to any of the other pack members.

With Hikage's expression, Twilight was intent on wiping that smirk off of his face. She approached him, her fur raising slightly to show that she won't hesitate to wipe it off herself.
"With your words, meaningful or not, you have already gotten her hopes up for finally being accepted. It would be quite rude and harsh to make this young lady an example of your fault, would it not?"
She stood, waiting. Scanning. Judging. She looked over to the female at the last part of her sentence, then back at her son. She meant to get a message across to her son; she was dead serious right now about her words, so he better choose his carefully.

Hikage felt his hackles rise to their full extent and his smirk turn into a small snarl as he listened. All of this was out of instinct, as she finished he closed his maw before responding. "It would, though, my question is, have i done as you said, or have i not? I know what your getting at, but will you please answer my question?" He knew he was defeated, he knew/hoped that Emilia was stronger than to let this really affect her. He felt something for her, he would be willing to leave the pack to find out if they would work as mates, his eyes told the whole story to Twi. He also knew that she wouldn't let that affect her decision, for her pack life and personal life were two separate things that should never be mixed.

Emilia was still sitting waiting for her turn to speak. In a away these two reminder her of her brother and mother. They would be nice at times to each other, but one way or another they would always war it out between each other. Mother was the victor in most cases and her brother, Demon was to sit in her defeated shadow. If It wasn't for their mother then her wouldn't be a great alpha. Emilia choose not to sides, she liked Hikage but she didn't want to anger the Alphaess. So she continued to listen for the answer she and (she hoped) Hikage wanted to hear.

The double life she led had dams that held it shut. Both doors never leading to another, all leaks were instantly repaired. A mixed life would be hell for her, her pack, and her youth. She looked over at Emilia and back at her son, all the while holding that look in her eyes. The same look she had given many who wished to join. She had kept her demeanor of disapproval from the start. Her jaw line was firm, and loosened suddenly.
"She can stay...for now."
She walked over to the female now, staring at her eye to eye, her icy blue orbs never leaving hers. She stayed like this for sometime, reading her. Each wolf had their own stories, and each of them was like a book. While they were all similar stories, their chapters were all different.

He could feel the silence stretch on for an eternity, the wait was killing him. He knew only a moment was passing, but it was still driving him nuts. As his mom's mouth opened he could feel his heart skip a beat, he wanted to hear what she would say, at the same time, he didn't want to. He could feel his heart skip another beat when he realized what Twi had said. He bowed his head in thanks, not caring if she acknowledged it or not.

Emilia bowed her head. In side her self, the fae's heart let out the huge breath it head taken. It was huge relief to know that the alphaess excepted her. She still had to prove herself though.
When the silk white fae walked over to her, Emilia didn't budge. She held the same stance since she had arrived. She wasn't a threat to them and she would prove her self worthy.
Don't worry you won't. She said. Emilia kept her voice steady. Although she felt like giving everyone around her a huge wolf hug, she decided to keep those feeling to herself. She looked back over to Hikage and smiled before she looked back at the Alphaess.

Hikage lowered his head even lower as he let out a soft sigh of relief. As he raised his head he noticed that Twi was smiling a little bit. He wasn't sure if this was another test, if so he was sure he either almost failed it or he did. If it was Twi teaching him a lesson, he would be sure to remember it, though it seemed almost ironic. Ferinus are not known for manners and kindness. He thought to himself, he knew there was more to it, but he would save that for a better time, where he can actually think clearly.

Well it wasn't the first one I came across She said. Emilia didn't even really know how she got here. I really just wandered around till I found it. I heard about this pack but no one ever told me how to get here. At first the one a I came across had some defaced leader.
On another note I thought this area to be more exciting. I choose this one because your stronger then what a lot wolves give you credit for. she said. Not to mention the only ones who can handle me she thought to her self.
