Freedom whispers, encouraging many a soul to live life to its fullest, even when tragedies strike. Wolves' howls echo through the air regularly, frequently, and their companions of separate species accompany them in their treks and rests.
Here, they thrive, in packs and as loners. Here, where those of the land are considered children of the wild, three packs reside, with many loners. Peace may be challenged, among themselves and hunters, but forever shall they thrive, forever shall their blood survive...

Skop ran through the highlands quite recklessly. She knew that she should be careful around here. But she loved this feeling. The feeling of jumping over things at the very last minute. Of almost falling, of almost getting hurt, but always making it away unscathed. Well, almost always. Today, her luck would run out.
She jumped over a medium sized rock, a grin on her features. But the grin was soon smacked away. She landed on the ground, and her foot got stuck in a snake hole. She tripped forward, and there was a sickening crack. She yelped loudly, and just laid there, a few tears running down her cheeks. She had never been in so much pain.

Bundled muscles rippled beneath the brute's striking pelt, it's been a while since he's hunted on his own and today, you could say he was hunting for the sake of honing his senses and to pull him out of boredom, that could turn even the most patient, insane eventually. Scopes targeting on the rabbit close by who seemed unaware of the creeping predator who'll bring it's demise in less than minutes. Leaping forward, the brute's jaws were clamped upon it's neck before it had the reaction time to get away, shaking his head violently to bring the rodent's end quick. At that exact timing, his audits caught drift of a yelp, stopping the shaking abruptly, he was confused, was it the rabbit? or another wolf was present? no.. rabbits made squeaks, and it definitely wasn't loud enough to be heard from a distance.
Keeping the rabbit hanging limp by his muzzle, the brute faced the direction of the sound, it came from the higher regions of the highlands. Afraid that someone could've gotten hurt, he set of quickly.
-----------------
Arriving not long after, Seneca figured the source of the sound was in fact a femme. Though he's never seen anything quite like her and was indeed a sight for sore eyes. Slowing to a walk to take in the situation, it didn't take him long to be by her side, as he got closer, the scent of his pack lingered amongst her own. She's been to Lu a Veho? perhaps she was a pack member too. His orbs gazed around for something that could aid, as he did so, he dropped the rabbit by her muzzle. Here, take this, it'll get your mind off the pain for a while... what happened?

Skop laid there, afraid to move. She knew that she would have to move eventually. She would have to get back to the packlands, and of course, she didn't want something to eat her. She shuddered at the thought. Being eaten wasn't high on her priority list. But just as she was about to work her way out of the hole, another approached. He smelled like her pack, so she wasn't worried. He wouldn't hurt her.
Here, take this, it'll get your mind off the pain for a while... what happened?
She sniffled a bit and worked her paw out of the hole gently. She looked up at him, her brown eyes red with tears. Skop wasn't one to cry about physical pain. But, damnit, this hurt. "I was just running, and I fell down in that hole."
She looked down in embarrassment, finally noticing the rabbit at her feet. He had told her to eat it, but she feared it might make her sick.

Quickly registering the femme to be mostly dog, his thoughts wondered in question to just how many dogs there were roaming about the wolf's territories, or more so, how they got here. Was she part of the human's before? this wasn't exactly the time to think about histories and the brute refocused on the situation at hand.
At the sight of tears, it darn almost broke his heart, a kind wolf naturally, he hated seeing others get hurt badly, especially that of his pack, and a unique, attractive femme. Not forgetting his chivalry, he craned his neck to nuzzle in comfort, there wasn't much he knew what to do in terms of health, so taking her to their lands would be the safest option, though it was a long journey and god knew what could happen between now and then. Well, we all fall down sometimes, it's okay, I'm sure you'll be alright. My name's Seneca by the way He tried his best to take the femme's mind away from the pain whilst helping her ease her foot from the hole, not much to go.

Skop leaned into him as he nuzzled her. Still being very puppyish in nature, she would accepted comfort from whoever offered it to her. She left her face in his chest, still crying softly. What was she going to do? She didn't think she could make it back to packlands, she didn't want to try and walk on it. She hated this. Why was it happening? She was going to much more careful from now on. She never wanted this again. Ever.
Well, we all fall down sometimes, it's okay, I'm sure you'll be alright. My name's Seneca by the way
His words comforted her a bit, and she stopped crying. Even though the pain in her foot was almost too much to take. She leaned on him as he helped her to remove her foot from the the hole. "My name is Skop."
She said softly. Usually she was a lot happier and more active than this, but the pain had subdued her a lot.

The return of comfort, or an action of looking to him for comfort made this wolf stand on the edges of his pads, it was rare, and it'll take some getting used to, especially since he has been wondering a lot from his pack lands, would this be a reason for having to go back? Skop? well, fine damsel it's nice to meet you He paused, smiling, the hues of her orbs were enough to make him forget about the pain if they weren't so reflective of it to remind him. Now.. what are we gonna do about your leg..It being finally free from the hole, he scanned a slow eye over it, and above the pelt, it didn't look so bad, save for a few cuts and grazes, but it was beneath the fine ligaments and to the bone he was worried about.
Frustration was beginning to hit the brute as there was nothing here but a few shrubs, sticks and stones, what were they going to do if nature defies against them once more. Keeping his composure, he licked the few cuts that began to ooze blood, gently as to not bring further pain, though a little wince here and there was unavoidable. Unfortunate we had to meet under these situations huh?.

She didn't notice tha he was a bit unsettled by her gaining comfort from him. She was in too much pain, and she like him. She liked Seneca. He was nice, and soft, and warm, and cute. He was cute. She didn't know where that thought had came from, but it was very true. She smiled up at him as he told her it was nice to meet her. The smile wasn't as big as her usual ones, but it wasn't fake. It was still there, very much so.
"It's nice to meet you too." She said, nodding a bit. She and Seneca were going to be good friends. She could feel it.
She heard his question about her leg, but she didn't know how to answer it. She didn't know what to do. She was relying on him to give her all the answers and take care of her. That wasn't really like Skop, mostly she liked to take care of herself, but she knew right now that she couldn't. She smiled a bit as he started to lick the flesh wounds on her foot. It hurt a little, but she enjoyed the feel. She liked the thought that he cared.
Unfortunate we had to meet under these situations huh?.
She shrugged a bit. "Well, yeah. But I'm glad you found me. I was scared that something was going to come along and eat me." The fear that was present in her voice made it clear that she was completely serious.

Ebon lips parted as the femme returned the pleasure to meet him, being 2-3 years of age, the brute’s mind already raced to thinking about mates, if only she would take him in the future. His brother already had a mate and this brute was somewhat jealous; he was always the favored from his litter, the most adventurous and now a high candidate to taking Alpha of Lu a Veho, but that wasn’t the only reason, it hardly made a percentage, no, what he loved was feeling the comfort of her company.

Cute, very cute, Seneca thought as he smiled warmly, but realized that she was being serious. He bent his muzzle to nuzzle her head fur. Well no one’s gonna eat you now, I promise you that. What’s a pretty thing like you doing all the way up here anyway? the male showered compliments.

Skop listened to what Seneca had to say to her. It caused some weird feelings to stir up inside of her. The fist was embarrassment, but she didn't understand why she was embarrassed. The second was something in her stomach. Like, there were little things fluttering around in her. They were pleasant feelings, but at the same time, unsettling. She wanted to know what they were. For some reason she was attracted to him, more so than she'd ever been in her whole life.
She looked down, her ears flopping in her face, and giggled a bit at all of his compliments. She stirred the dirt around with her paw. "I was just exploring, I don't like staying in the packlands all the time."
Her voice was thick with the embarrassment that she felt, but she hoped that he wouldn't notice.

As they made general conversation, Seneca had to admit, it was probably the first time someone has ever opened up to him so easily, and that act almost immediately put her in his good books. Other contributes were her exotic appearance, Sen would never have thought he’d fall for a dog, what would his father think if he told him his thoughts about Skop?
Noticing the shifting paw and stirring of dirt, Sen guessed it was because that she was shy? Or nervous.. Perhaps even both. Honestly, he wanted to tell her, but never being one to wear his heart on his sleeves, he wasn’t exactly sure how to, so he twisted some compliments into a flirtatious comment. Not from around here are you? Actually, I’m surprised to see you out here alone, with your features, I was expecting a hella lot of brutes chasing your tail. Well.. I be one of em A wide grin spread from across his maw, his carefree attitude radiating as he said those few lines, though he did mean it.
Refocusing back on the leg, Seneca swiveled his head around to take out a few puffs of fur from his pelt, laying them upon the wounds, if they get to a river or pond, the few hairs could be easily washed off and it protected the cuts from any dirt flying into it, causing it further damage. The bone damage, he wasn’t sure how to solve.

Skop watched him closely as his eyes traveled over her small body. It made her a little nervous, because no one had ever really looked at her like that before. She was always considered a freak, and she thought that would be the case here. But according to his words, the reason he was looking at her was because of the way she looked. He liked it for some reason. She began to look him up and down as well. She loved his white coloration. Ever since she had entered these lands, the white wolves had taken her breath away. They were just so beautiful. She wished that she could be one. But she knew that would never happen.
Finally, she looked up at his face to answer his speech. Everything that he was saying was making her want to giggle and hide her face. Of course, she fought back these urges. They were no good. "Ah . . . I'm not sure I know what you mean. I'm not that attractive."
But she didn't really reply to the part about him being one of the brutes that was chasing her. She just looked down and allowed a small giggle to escape her maw. She watched as he pulled a few tufts of his fur out, and whined a bit as he put them on her foot. It was very tender.

Seneca's orbs continued to travel upon the fae, she was different than the other femmes he's met, gentle, she seemed loyal, part of his pack, and was quite the stunner, to him, she was perfect. He did meet this other one that he thought could've worked out, but that was about a year or so ago and he hasn't met her since, seems like he was played like a fiddle.
"Ah . . . I'm not sure I know what you mean. I'm not that attractive."
Are you kidding? you're fiine, a sight for a sore eyes, and unique. If that aint attractive, i dont know what is
At the whine, his brow creased worriedly, wondering wether or not he did the right thing, he was after all, quite new at tending to others, especially bad wounds, the alabaster layed down beside the fae, resting his head gently upon her back if she would let him, as his thoughts drifted off, trying to find a way to make it heal faster, generally anything with a bone he knew as much as, it'll take a while, perhaps a few weeks to a month. Well.. that's all about we can do.. you just gotta make sure to lay off it, try not to move it, if we stay here, i can hunt for you, and help you get to waters.

If wolves could blush, Skop would be bright red. She had never been complimented like that before. She had to say that she liked it, but still, it was embarrassing her and making her shy. But in a good way. She didn't understand this feeling. So, she tucked her head down and giggled a bit. She didn't really know what to say, but she looked back up at him for a moment, hiding behind her floppy ears. Only to return her gaze to the ground quickly with another giggle. She didn't know why she was behaving like this, but he was making her tummy feel all funny. She finally forced to look back up at him. She gave him a small smile, a shy one. "Well, thanks."
She said, unsure of what else to say.
When he rested his head upon her back, it felt like electricity ran through her body. She had never really had another give her the kinds of feelings that he was giving her. She liked it, she loved it. She rested her head on her paws, taking a few breaths, and trying to slow the erratic beat of her heart. She had almost completely forgotten the pain in foot, but it was too much for her just forget it all together. When she heard what he said about them staying here and him hunting for her, she had to say that she was flattered. It was nice to know that he would be here to take care of her. "But, Senny . . . " The nickname just sort of slipped out, he was too fluffy to be called 'Seneca'. "The pack will probably worry about us. You more than me, since you acually have a family there. I'm flattered that you would do all of that for me, but I think we should probably try to figure out a way to get back." She blinked once, surprised at herself. She knew how to take care of herself, and stuff But that was probably the most mature thing she had ever said.

Seneca listened carefully to her consistant giggles, his tail wagged happily behind him as he was glad to put her mind at ease despite the pain on her leg. No problem
His audits twitched at Skop's suggestion, he somewhat was dreading that but at the same time it was the safest option.. kind of. It was a long journey back to home and she was barely in the best condition to travel such a distance, but she was right nontheless. At the mention of his name being shortened, he couldn't help but chuckle, it made him feel like a big fuzz really, but he did feel special, it was the first time someone has ever given him one.
Well, i guess you're right.. but don't ya worry, we'll make it back alright. Can you stand? He got up from her back and nosed her shoulder lightly in encouragement, and he's there to help her if she needed.
::sorry it was short, got so much to do at the moment ><::

Skop watched him closely after she made her suggestion. She didn't really know him well enough to read him, but it seemed like he didn't want to go back for some reason. She couldn't understand why he wouldn't, she was so happy to have found a home and some kind wolves to help her out. But maybe things were different for him. When he asked her if she could stand, she made a face. She didn't want to try, but she knew she had to. Oh, why had she gotten herself into this mess? She forced herself to stand up, whining loudly as she picked her broked foot up off the ground. She could feel it dangling there. It wasn't a nice feeling. A few tears rolled down her cheeks and she leaned into him. She needed his help to stand, but not only that, she liked to feel him next to her. It comforted her.
