October 25th, 2009 First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all new members to the site. I hope you have lots of roleplaying adventures and make some new friends along the way. =D
Now to business. I have decided we need to have another activity check. For those of you who are new, an activity check is just our way of finding out which members are still participating in the game. All members are required to post. Please check the Bulletin Board.
Seasonal Updates
Year 4 Weather:
It's starting to cool off in the lands of CoTW. Bears are more active this time of the year, because they looking for those last few morsels before it is time for winter. The leaves on the trees are changing in beautiful arrays of color, and it's just nice to lay outside and feel the lukewarm air.
Prey:
Some of the larger species are starting to getting scarce, however, rabbits and the like are still in abundance.
Breeding: yes.
Birthing: negative.
Spring is in: January, May, and September
Summer is in: February, June, and October
Autumn is in: March, July, and November
Winter is in: April, August, and December

Hikage smiled and burried his nose in her soft fur, cold nosing in the process. He could not remember the last time he was this happy, he loved Emilia to no end. Pulling his nose away he grinned playfully and licked her cheek. "What ae you thinking about?" he asked softly, looking up at were she was looking, silently scanning the sky silently, out if the corner of his eye he saw a small streak in the sky. He recalled hearing that they were called falling stars, and you should make a wish when you see it. He silently tried to think of something, he was happy with what he had. I wish this last's forever, the love between us especially.

Emilia smilied as Hikage licked her cheek. She wasn't sure to how this answer that answer that question because she was thinking of so much tonight. She caught sight of of the falling stars. Making wish was something that Emilia knew well.
Hers already came true. I'm thinking about us she said. That was true. How this is the way it should be. That was true too. What she would never say to him was how much she truly loved him and she always wanted that feeling to stay.

Hikage smiled softly as he laid his head back down on top of her, shifting his body closer to her's. As he laid there he thought about his past, it was a sombre moment, as he remembered the day of the 1st time he had the dream, he thought about how much Twi was hurt. he could still remember one part clearly. She could be pregnate, your nieces or nephew could've been born without us knowing! As he thought more and more about it, he realized how much she has been through since Kody left. He wanted to give her something that would help ease her pain.
"I think it is only fair that Twi has a chance to see her grandchildren before she passes away from this world." He said softly, raising his head to look his mate eye to eye.

Emilia looked over to her mate at the mention of his mother. She didn't now much about her but she was the alphaess. She deserved more respect then what most of the wolves give her.
She gave herself a moment to think about, it seemed fair to her. So do I Emilia knew that was the response he wanted to hear. She gave him the truth about how she felt about this and was it. Twi should see her grandkids before passing on.

Hikage laid there silently as Emilia pondered his statement, his mind doing a tug of war. He wanted to be a father, but he didn't want to deal with the hardships that his mom had to experience. He decided that he would let Emilia decide when it was time, just as she said earlier...
His ears perked slightly as he listened to her response. He smiled softly and nuzzled her neck gently. "Just tell me when." He whispered to her as he nuzzled her neck.

Emila at her mate. She licked his muzzle again. Don't worry I will She said. Emilia was happy about this. She got to decide when she would have. She wasn't sure how she would be as a mother so she would still be thinking about it.

Hikage let out a content sigh as he laid his head back down on his mate's soft fur. "I'm sure i will." He replied back as he slowly closed his eyes, his body huddling closer to Emilia's instinctively. "Do you want to go to the den now?" He asked her as he decided it was best to go to sleep in there than out here.

Ya that's fine. Emilia was beginning to feel her tiredness creep up on her. She didn't want to sleep out here and she would be more comfortable in the den anyways.
Emilia slowly rose. She didn't realize how tired she until she tried to stand up. She slowly walked to den. She lied down in spot that was comfortable to her. Goodnight Hikage.

Hikage nodded as he stood up, stretching a little bit as Emilia stood up with him. He followed her as they traveled the small distance to the den.
As they entered he let his night vision adapt to the new conditions before going any farther, not knowing who he might stumble on by accident. Satisfied he silently caught up with Emilia as she made herself comfortable. He laid down next to her before wrapping his body around hers. "Good night." He replied softly as he closed his eyes to sleep.
